Dan Cole, Founder
Dan Cole is a Canadian technology leader and the founder of FounderHub LTD. He has spent around 30 years across enterprise infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, automation, service recovery and technical leadership.
That work has included leading difficult infrastructure changes and restoring services in high pressure environments, and working through hostile or escalated customer situations to restore confidence and resolve the underlying technical issues.
His current work covers governed AI execution, enterprise automation, AI governance, financial workflow technology and cybersecurity platforms. He operates across Canada and the United Kingdom through the relevant company structures. FounderHub LTD is registered in Manchester, England, and combines Dan’s direct leadership with specialised AI systems and a technical development capability.

Public library DHCP migration
Situation. Calgary Public Library needed its DHCP service moved from Linux to Windows across a live network.
Responsibility. Dan led the migration and cutover.
Action. The change was planned and executed as an overnight cutover.
Outcome. The service was migrated without user facing downtime.
Microsoft SQL licensing correction
Situation. An organisation in Canmore faced a significant Microsoft SQL licensing exposure.
Responsibility. Dan reviewed the licensing position.
Action. He identified and corrected the licensing issue.
Outcome. Approximately CAD 300,000 in unnecessary cost was avoided.
Call centre outage recovery
Situation. A serious call centre outage created material legal and commercial risk the longer it continued.
Responsibility. Dan led the technical recovery.
Action. He restored the affected infrastructure under pressure.
Outcome. Service was returned and the escalating risk was contained.
